As our Week of Giving comes to a close, it has been so uplifting to see how much you support us.  Thank you for sharing our story with your family and friends and making our Week of Giving a success. I appreciate your gifts and thoughts all the ways you reminded us that we are not alone in our mission to care for the children in the Virgin Islands.

As grateful as I am for your love, I think there are others who appreciate you too....

Hi!
I am Pablo, and the best part of my day is playing with my friends, riding a bike, car racing, and running around outside. I like computer time too because I get to watch my favorite show on Cartoon Network.

I like going to school and summer camp. Today was very boring at summer camp, though. Our teacher made us walk far, and we got tired.  I was tired too, but I was the best, and the teacher gave me three cars.

My best day will be when this COVID is finished. Then I don't have to wear a mask all day. It makes my face sweaty and wet.

Sometimes I wish I had a dog or a puppy.  They are so cute.  If it is a boy, I will call it James.  If it is a girl, I will call it Princess.

Hi!
My name is Seanne, and the best part of my day is going to school and playing.  I like racing with my friends and my brother because I sometimes win.  I am the fastest in my class.

My favorite story is Green Eggs and Ham.  I have the book here at my library. The story is sometimes silly. Like a fox eating inside a treehouse and a car driving on a tree. That's silly.

I also like sharing because sharing is caring. On TV, I see people sharing, even something special. Sometimes I share my racing car with my brother and sometimes he gives me his special car too.

If I had a stuffed animal,  I think it would say to me, "I like you," "Can you play with me" and when I am back from school, it would say, "Hi, hello, how was your day at school?"

You are forever a friend to Queen Louise Home for Children.

Your gifts will help Pablo and Seanne continue to dream, grow, learn, play, and become all they can be. We cannot thank you enough for making their lives better and giving us the support we need to make sure they are well cared for.

MEET YOUR NEW FRIEND, MS. KING.

My name is Cheryl Clenance King. My interest in the Queen Louise Home for Children started many years ago with my mother.  I would go with her to visit the home for various events.  I got to meet the children there at the time, see their living quarters, and the loving care they received from the staff.

After my mother passed, I continued to keep in touch with the home and made visits and donations as often as I could over the past thirty years.  I feel fortunate to be there for the children and Lutheran Social Services, and I do my part so they have the resources to meet their everyday needs.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING ME ♥

We are keeping our giving portal open for a few more days. If you or your circles would like a chance to give, now is the time!
