In accordance with the budget bill adopted by the 134th General Assembly, the Ohio Department of Medicaid is implementing rate increases for many of Ohio’s fee-for-service home- and community-based services (HCBS) waiver programs.
The rate increases are a result of House Bill (HB) 110, Ohio’s biennium budget for state fiscal years 2022 and 2023. They affect the following state plan services and waiver services supported through the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), the Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). Percentage increases for program-specific services are listed below. Increases are effective as of November 1:
- Adult Day Health Center - 25%
- Personal Care Aide - 6.1%
- Home Care Attendant - 6.1%
- Home Delivered Meals - 10.76%
-
Waiver Nursing - 6.1%
Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 5160-46-06 and 5160-46-06.1 rules enumerate the above rate changes. |
