General FAQs

When do these changes go into effect?

We expect these changes to go into effect on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

What do you mean by “All-In-One”?

As we expand to support end-to-end digital campaigns, we are adding new content types to our offer list. We started with email, added landing pages and will soon add pop-ups. As we grow, more content types may follow.

Rather than requiring a new subscription for each content type, we’re making the process simpler by switching to an all-in-one offering.  Every Plugin customer will have complete freedom to deploy all of the tools we offer, as needed.

A separate subscription is  needed if you plan to embedBEE Plugin into a distinct  products . For example, if you have a CRM and a marketing automation platform, sold separately to your customers, then you would need two subscriptions to embed BEE Plugin in both.

Why the name changes?

The existing plan names did not provide enough information on what the package included. In fact, StartUp was a misleading name: even large companies use it, when they are implementing BEE with basic functionality. So we renamed the plans to better reflect the value that they deliver:

  • Essentials - To get started with our embeddable editor
  • Core - To leverage more of BEE’s core value and grow your SaaS scaleup
  • Superpowers - For complete control on how BEE looks & behaves
  • Enterprise - For custom solutions that fit the needs of larger businesses

Do prices change?

Yes, there is a mix of price increases and price reductions, depending on the plan. Below is a quick summary. The number of included Content Services API calls (CS API), additional API call pricing, AWS CloudFront Data Traffic pricing, and Premium Support pricing do not change.

Why the  price increase?

We’ve restructured our pricing to be more cost-efficient as we grow, as well as to reflect the value that each plan provides. For many customers, this new pricing plan will reduce costs immediately. For others, it provides access to a greater range of products and reduces costs long term as we add capabilities. We also removed the Content Services API access fee to eliminate friction for those that wish to adopt it.

What happened to yearly pricing?

We’ve moved away from yearly pricing and will provide a discount for multi-year contracts. Please contact Sales for details or simply reply to this message.

What happened to bundles?

They don’t exist anymore :-)

BEE Plugin plans are now “all-in-one” plans. They include all flavors of the BEE editor, for one product.  As a result bundle pricing no longer applies. For most plans, this results in some savings compared to the old pricing, as shown in the tables below.

Monthly plans

Yearly Plans

The concept of all-in-one applies to a Product. If you have multiple, separate products that you are selling, then you will need to purchase additional subscriptions for the additional products.

One all-in-one subscription = One product

For example, if you offer two separate products - a marketing automation platform and a CRM - you will need two subscriptions to embed BEE in each product. That’s already how things work today. Ask our Sales team for details. What happened to the API access fee? It’s gone. Long live simpler pricing!
